2017 HAND REARED BARN OWLS CLOSE RUNG WITH A10 CERTIFICATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITES RULES, IBR REGISTERED

Hi, our Birthdays are in June/July and we are ready to be rehomed now.

We are lovely birds, hand reared and tame. We love cuddles with dad, we're used to everyday life around the house. We are used to noise like tv, radio, vacuums and also the two mad staffies that seem to run riot around dads house.
We might hiss and click our beak at dads sister but that's just to show her who's in charge. We don't bite, well not hard anyway hahaha. We come from fit healthy stock and often people buy us on personal recommendation. Previous brothers and sisters have gone to Warwick castle and J.R.C.S Falconry to be part of their display teams. Four of our brothers and sisters have joined display teams already this year. Our brothers and sisters have gone as far as Liverpool, Manchester and Bridgend in South Wales too this year. We would also like loving forever homes.

Dad is in touch with lots of our earlier brothers and sisters new moms and dads, we love hearing about their new adventures. Watching them develop is so enjoyable.

We get fed on a top quality diet here, it's a mixed diet which makes us fit and healthy and not just the same old day old chicks day after day like a good many others are fed on. We love the variety we get. We wouldn't be healthy if we only ate one food, we might survive but wouldn't be healthy. Yes, we do get day old chicks but we also have quail, chicken, pheasant, mouse, rat, multimammate (a soft furred rat), hamster (the closest thing generally available to voles which they hunt in the wild) & rabbit. This costs our dad considerably more than just d.o.c. but the health benefits to us are obvious. If you do choose to buy from elsewhere advertising 'excellent quality mixed diet' ask to see the food they have been eating or look at some recent castings. Anyone who puts the welfare of the bird first will not mind. If you want the cheapest owlet around, one who only ever gets day old chicks and their parents also only get doc's, well you pays your money and you takes your chance. There's an old saying, 'Buy cheap, buy twice.'

Our dad would prefer an experienced person to take us on but a novice with a suitable mentor might be acceptable subject to satisfactorily answering his queries and proving that we will have suitable housing.
